Shiism and Sunni
Any faithful Sunni knows that the first four caliphs - Muḥammad's successors - rightfully took his place as the leaders of Islam and the heirs of the four caliphs are the legitimate religious leaders of our faith. The deluded followers of Shiite teachings believe that only the heirs of the fourth caliph, 'Alī, are the legitimate successors of Muḥammad, peace be upon him, and that there has been no legitimate religious figure since the Twelfth Imām disappeared in 941.
The tension between Sunnism and Shiism in Country has grown over the years and it is only due to the diplomatic corps that so far nothing has happened.
