Conscience of Ruler
Years have passed and Ruler has proven to be a fair and just ruler. The clergy no longer fear a sudden Catholic coup and their hatred of Papism has been tempered by Ruler's understanding of the religion.
Ruler himself/herself, however, is troubled. As the years have gone by, he/she has come to realize that his/her personal faith lies much closer to that of the Catholics that he/she has done so much to protect and not with the dogmatic State Church of Country.
