According to him, this map is a masterpiece of geographical knowledge, and promises to provide unparalleled insight into the known world, as well as the unexplored territories beyond. However, he finds himself/herself in need of additional funding to complete the project and has turned to us for support.

His map was one of the most advanced of its time, synthesizing geographical knowledge from European, Arabic, and other sources, and was the most detailed map of the world up until that point. The map was one of the first ones which placed accuracy ahead of religious beliefs, as older maps used to place Jerusalem at the center of the map, or show the Biblical paradise as a physical place; none of which were displayed on this map.
