The Great Agricultural Reform
The Country is sorely in need of serious domestic reforms, particularly where it concerns our harvest. To that end, we have employed a foreign expert to advise us on making these improvements. This fellow's radical plan completely rebuilds our agricultural system from the soil up, involving everything from relocating peasants to removing traditional common lands and grazing rights in favor of creating larger, more efficient farms. Enacting these reforms would greatly boost our agricultural output, albeit at the expense of angering the Nobility.

Time has forgotten the many important reforms he put in motion - not the least of which was the great agricultural reform supervised by Rutger MacLean. MacLean was a harsh man who would not hesitate to burn down the houses of peasants who refused to move to their assigned lots. But in the end, the farmers thanked him, as the new methods and larger fields resulted in more bountiful harvests than ever before.
