Mount Áthos has once again come under Country Adjective rule. Among its sacred monasteries stands Hilandar - a cornerstone of our national heritage, built by Stefan Nemanja and his son, Saint Sava. However, years of neglect and the passage of time have taken their toll on this venerable site. The walls that once echoed with the prayers of our forefathers now stand in need of restoration.
