Treaty of Nerchinsk
Territorial disputes between the Country Adjective Flavor Rank and China are likely to increase as we continue expanding eastward. A treaty should be proposed to prevent further conflict and strengthen our claim over the West Siberia and East Siberia regions. In exchange, we could relinquish any hold over Manchuria as a gesture of goodwill.

By the century's end, most of eastern Siberia was discovered, including Kamchatska reached in 1679. The Amur basin was explored in the 1650s by Khabarov. In 1689, the Russo-Chinese border conflict found resolution in the Treaty of Nerchinsk, marking the Amur border. In 1727, the Kyakhta treaty facilitated a Russian trading station in Peking, the Manchu dynasty's capital.
