Despite being a risky step in our already tense relationship with the Hansa Country, our seizure of the Peterhof Kontor has so far proven to be a worthwhile gamble. Country Adjective merchants have largely regained a trading advantage in Neva while the Hansa Country Adjective influence has largely waned. While the Kontor remains active, many merchants that previously aligned themselves with the Hansa Country have begun to instead do trade that benefits Country.
