He oversaw the construction of new gardens, temples, and commercial centers, transforming the city into a vibrant hub. Even monumental structures like the Buland Darwaza, the Door of Victory, were built during this time. Unfortunately, the town was completely abandoned in 1610 after the emperor lost interest in it.
