It is only natural that a slave will be more loyal to their master than any other in their new homeland, and even more so if rewarded by manumission for services rendered.
However, currently many of the Country Adjective Mamlūk in our administration, Court Title and armies are those whom previous rulers bought and introduced to our Flavor Rank. These are people with great influence but no personal loyalties to Target Character, people that our new Mamlūk accuse of plotting and seeking to limit their influence.
