Unfortunately, this pride of Alexandria was destroyed by an earthquake in 1323, and nobody was willing to invest in its reconstruction. Lately, many within our Court Title have been suggesting to restore the lighthouse, enhancing the safety of Alexandria's harbor but also signaling our commitment to the city's revival as a vital center of trade and culture in the Mediterranean Sea.
