Although a prominent academy for centuries, in recent times the Ashikaga Gakkō has seen a steep decline in its innovation. With several supporters sympathetic to the arts of the school present in the Court Title, many have begun to urge Our Ruler to patronage its strengthening in hopes renewed help from the state will help revive the one great academy.
