Half-Tax Decree
Seeking to further bolster the ties of Imperial court to the Country, Our Ruler has officially sanctioned the Hanzei decree. Outlawing the halving of Imperial lands by Shugo Daimyō, Nobility will now be required to pay a half-tax proportional to the support received by Country Adjective representatives in resolving local incursions. Newly appointed Shugo Daimyō however have been spared of the decree.
