Kyōhō Reforms
A proposal has been brought up to Target Character for the 'Kyōhō Reforms', an array of economic policies aimed at making the Country financially solvent. As Confucian principles are to some extent ingrained in our government, and since they argue that money is defiling, it will be necessary to shelve certain of these principles if they would hamper the reform process. The reforms include the formation of merchant guilds that will allow greater control and taxation, and place an emphasis on frugality.
