While the Haudenosaunee Confederation has operated as a cooperative tribal union, each tribe has been left to maintain its own autonomy and warbands. However, seeing the growth of rival tribes, some around Our Ruler have suggested that he/she pursues a campaign to lead the Haudenosaunee as a central leader.
While some will see this as a betrayal to the Great Peacemaker's vision for the confederation, a strong leader may be needed to safeguard the confederation from outside tribal threats.
