Once a divided people, the Haudenosaunee Confederation came together through the works of the Great Peacemaker, Deganawida, who united the once rivaling tribes into a familial union. While in the time since the founding of the confederation the tribes of the Haudenosaunee have remained united and coexisted, some whispers have begun to grow that a dominant tribe should emerge to serve as the principal leader. However, such a feat would risk jeopardizing the very founding principles that Deganawida founded the Haudenosaunee Confederation on.
