The Crushing of the Huguenots
With the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, many Huguenot followers have fled Country along other religious minorities. Seeking to ensure Country can never again be subjected to religious strife brought forth by the Huguenots, the Country Adjective has issued the quartering of dragoons within many Huguenot homes to enforce religious reconversion policies. With a large portion of the previous Huguenot population now having either fled from France or have reconverted back to Catholicism, it is unlikely Country will succumb to religious strife again.
