Amid a campaign in northern France, a sudden storm suddenly begins to form. Temperatures plunge, lightning strikes and enormous hailstones start to pelt the soldiers, causing numerous deaths. The horses are scattered, panic widespread as the survivors desperately search for shelter. Some say it is a divine punishment for the ongoing atrocities being committed, others speak of the devil at work.
