Demolition of the Absalon's Castle
In the aftermath of our humiliating defeat, Hansa has imposed harsh terms on Country. Among these demands is the demolition of Absalon's Castle, the ancient fortress in Copenhagen. This fortification, build in 12th century by Bishop Absalon, has long protected Copenhagen, and has been crucial in our protection of the city as well as key in enforcement of the Sound Dues - which made it a thorn in the Hansa's side.
