Target Character and the Chronicles of Country
With Target Character at our disposal, some have suggested we put his/her extraordinary talent for chronicling history to use. By commissioning him/her to write a detailed account of the history of Country and its recent rulers. With enough funding, we could ensure that the new work is a worthy successor to Estoria de España, preserving the legacy of our reign and ensuring that future generations understand the struggles and triumphs that shaped our Flavor Rank.

1612historical_info = flavor_cas.27.historical_info Pedro López de Ayala was the son of Fernán Pérez de Ayala, lord of Ayala in Álava. He was educated by Cardinal Pedro Gómez Barroso, his great uncle, which would determine that he would enter the service of King Pedro I as an official in the royal court. When open hostilities started between Pedro I and his bastard half-brother, Enrique de Trastámara, he would enter the service of the latter, and serve him for the three years that the succession war lasted. The victory of Enrique would make him reward Pedro López de Ayala as one of his most loyal vassals, with different grants and offices, peaking during the reign of Enrique's son, Juan I, during which Pedro would be 'Camarero mayor del rey' - 'Great chamberlain of the household'. During his service to the different kings, he would write a chronicle for each reign, collectively known as Crónicas de los reyes de Castilla - Chronicles of the kings of Castile, which would make a long-lasting impact in the knowledge of this period.
