Portugal has been thrown into turmoil as the succession laws have been altered to favor an illegitimate claimant, bypassing our dynastic ties to the deposed dynasty. The estates of Portugal have decided to crown Portuguese Ruler as their new king, fearing that should the crown pass to us, the country would be absorbed into Country and reduced to a mere province. Many within the Court Title urge the Crown to take an action and press our dynastic claims to dethrone the usurper.
