For a long time Europe has suffered under the strife between Catholicism and those who embraced the ideas of the Reformation. If we were to invite the suppressed Lutheranism and Calvinism people of Europe to settle in our lands, we could certainly profit from the influx of new subjects. But such a proclamation would earn the ire of the powers of Europe which subjects we are encouraging to migrate to us.
