Book of the Consulate of the Sea
The Llibre del Consolat de Mar, most widely known as the Book of the Consulate of the Sea, is a collection of ancient customs of the sea, and a body of rules for the government of cruisers of war. It is proposed that we fund the new edition of the book which will contain a code of procedure for the guidance of the courts of the Consuls of the Sea, the judges in charge of keeping this set of maritime laws.
