The Council of Trent
Target Character He She Formal has invited us to attend the Council of Trent to debate the required reforms to remedy the corruption and other afflictions of the Church. The Council will discuss what constitutes Lutheran heresy and consider the definition of Church teachings in the areas of Scripture and Tradition, Original Sin, Justification, Sacraments, the Eucharist in Holy Mass, and the veneration of saints. It will also try to answer Lutheran disputes by considering curbs on practices that have become a stain on the Church's reputation, for instance, the frequent absenteeism of bishops and various worldly excesses of the clergy.
