A etapa seguinte do Sāmanta, o Mahā-Sāmanta paga um tributo maior a seu Suserano e pode ser Anexado por ele, numa velocidade maior do que um Vassalo normal. O Suserano também pode decidir conceder um papel mais autônomo e de maior confiança para o Mahā-Sāmanta, transformando-o em um Pradhāna-Mahā-Sāmanta por meio da Interação de País Melhorar para Pradhāna-Mahā-Sāmanta.
