17896historical_info = flavor_eng.177.historical_info レベッカ・ロルフ、通称ポカホンタスは、ポウハタン族のネイティブアメリカンの女性。ジョン・スミス船長との出会いや、のちのジョン・ロルフとの結婚など、ヴァージニアにおけるイギリス人入植者との交流で知られる。1616年、彼女は夫とともにイギリスに渡り、ホワイトホール宮殿で歓待を受けたが、帰国の準備中に病に倒れ、1617年にイギリスで亡くなった。
